History
Vital Distraction, LLC was formed in early 2002.
Brought together by the management team from MAXON USA, publishers of Cinema 4D, the founding members included the Vice-President of Sales, the Manager of Tech Support and the two best members of his staff.
Vital Distraction´s first jobs included a PlayStation demo for E3, a music video for Richard X and the previsuals for Flight of the Phoenix.
Vital Distraction quickly became known for precision modeling done at lightning speed and incredible previsualization for the motion picture industry saving hundreds of thousands of dollars in production time.
2004 work included additional television commercials, high profile previsuals including xXx : State of the Union, and a multitude of varying modeling jobs for high profile companies like Imaginary Forces, Miramax, Colombia Pictures, Paramount Pictures, 20th Century Fox and Notorious Pictures.

Michael Moore
As General Managing Partner, Michael is responsible for the business development and operations for the Los Angeles and Coeur D Alene Vital Distraction offices and its subsidiaries, Vital Disclosure and Precision Animations.
Michael has 25 years of worldwide experience in Executive Sales & Management including senior executive positions and responsibilities with Fortune 500 and 1000 companies such as Southwestern Bell, Mc Caw Communications, LA Cellular, Allied Business Composite, Sysco, Bank of America, and Pac Bell.
Prior to founding Vital, Michael held the position of Vice-President and Director of Sales for MAXON USA. Michael played a vital role in the rapid sales growth and product recognition that Cinema 4D and Bodypaint received in their fledgling years.

Kevin and Chris began their CG careers as the founding core of the tech support staff implemented during MAXON's move to establish a presence in the US.
Together, they soon became integral pieces of the Technical Support Department, regularly writing tutorials and manuals for Cinema 4D and Bodypaint. Chris was promoted to Manager of Technical Support while Kevin rose to be one his best team members.
In 2002, after receiving various offers for work, Chris and Kevin made a decision to team up and take on professional commercial projects. With the help of Paul Babb, Michael Moore, and Chad Hofteig, President, Vice-President, and Tech Support Rep of MAXON USA, Vital Distraction, LLC was formed.
Team Vital quickly became renowned for their quick pace and quality of workmanship allowing Chris, Kevin, and Michael to resign their positions at MAXON to pursue the dream. And the rest is history...
